Fabulous restaurant... delicious food and beautiful environment. Very friendly staff, especially the Canadians running the place. My group had lots of dietary requests they were more than happy to accommodate. We will be back.
A table was far too close to our table, very noisy - could not hold a conversation across our table. It was disappointing to have five noisy young children behind us. However, our food was superb and the staff were lovely.

Food is delicious! Went last year while we were on holiday and loved it so went again this time. Will go again when we're down here next time. Vibrant and comfortable atmosphere, very busy, which is always a good sign.
Don't be fooled by the external appearance. This place is great. Food was tasty and well presented. I was with a vegan and she didn't go hungry. Staff are freindly and fun. Prices are reasonable. They do a green tea with mushroom (courtesy of some hap-hazard food sharing) Went with another couple. Perfect for brunch

Best meal we've had in a long time. The standard of both food and service was excellent. We shared frogs legs to start and the chef comes out to serve them. It's run by a lovely French couple who are genuinely interested in you. The whole meal was fantastic, 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine came to a little over £80. You must go, I've never tasted French food like it.
There are two main reasons why this little gem of a place is an absolute MUST visit, when you are in North Devon. The food is excellent - quality ingredients, well presented and delicious. You could be in Paris or Bordeaux! The owners are delightful. He is Chef, she is front-of-house. The welcome and hospitality are second to none and they are happy to do things just as you like. Nothing seems too much trouble. Two of us ate and drank handsomely for less than £100. In London the same (if you can get it), would be double. Enjoy!

Sorry, Evie Cunliffe's Grandma & Granda couldn't make it to see the Nativity, but the children looked like they put their hole heart and soul into their performances. Well done children, and I think Mary looked really pretty in her new outfit Grandma made for her trip to Bethlehem and the birth of her new baby. God bless you all. Dec 9th 2015.
During the 2nd world war it was a very different school the village population was much smaller and quite often full of American soldiers the teachers were very strict but very professional I will always think of Georgeham as home even though I left there in 1948 and now live in France I thank the school for giving me the best start in life and wish the present staff all the very best Jonathan brunell
